About Me

My photo
Suburban Snow White
Once upon a time, long long ago, in the year 1999, two coworkers began calling me Snow White after repeatedly witnessing a herd of deer (fawns included!) exit the woods whenever I was around. It was coincidental, of course, but I always felt a connection to animals and thus felt a flush of pride at the nickname, despite its being intended as a friendly joke. Years later, I reasoned that it didn't make much sense to eat the very creatures I adored. So I stopped. It was, of course, a little more complicated than that, but you'll have to read on to find out more.
